Andres M. Licaros, Jr. was a Vice President for Marketing at St. Luke's Medical Center QC, a Director for Marketing at The Medical City in Pasig and President and CEO of Davao Doctors Hospital from 2008 to 2011. He led DDH into achieving 3 consecutive record breaking growth years in census, revenues and profit. This was achieved by keeping the operating costs low, improving the operating efficiencies, rationalizing the pricing of all services and running the hospital debt free. Thus, DDH kept and strengthened its leadership of the healthcare service industry in the South. Today, he leads Asian Hospital and Medical Center as its first Filipino President and CEO as they celebrate their 12th year anniversary in May. He is confident that we have not seen the Best of what Asian Hospital can be yet, thus the next few years shall see Asian become the Best Hospital in the country in terms of Quality of Patient Care and Patient Safety. This is on top of being a sustainably profitable organization in the years to come.

At present, Mr. Licaros is the President, Chief Executive Officer and member of AHI Board of Asian Hospital Inc. Asian Hospital’s Performance in 2012 and 2013 are both all-time highs for the organization since it opened in May 2002. To cap a very successful 2013, Asian Hospital earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission International last December 9, 2013. Asian Hospital now belongs to the fine list of less than 500 hospitals worldwide who are accredited by the Joint Commission.
