Jack is the Founder and Chairman of Numem, a leader in low‑power, high‑performance memory solutions for Edge AI, Physical AI, and Data Center applications. He also serves on the Board or Advisory Board of multiple AI hardware and SaaS companies and is an active investor in more than 50 startups across deep tech and enterprise software. Before founding Numem, Jack was President and CEO of Tensilica, where he transformed the company into the #1 merchant DSP provider, driving rapid growth that culminated in its acquisition by Cadence. He continued at Cadence as Corporate Vice President overseeing Tensilica products. Earlier in his career, Jack spearheaded the spin‑out of Magnum from Cirrus Logic, serving as Founder, President, and CEO. Under his leadership, Magnum became the leading provider of multimedia residential broadband ICs and acquired LSI Logic’s Consumer Products Group (C‑Cube). Prior to this, Jack led Tvia through its successful IPO. Jack holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MSEE from the Pierre & Marie Curie Engineering School of Paris, and a doctoral degree from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie.
