Thomas Schwarz has started his career at the former Hoechst AG in the area of recombinant insulin production in 1999. In more than 25 years, working at different international pharma companies (sanofi, Novartis, Takeda), he has acquired detailed knowledge in the areas of biologics drug substance manufacturing, fill-finish operations of biologics, and medical devices. During his career he has occupied positions in manufacturing, quality operations and strategic management. Since 2023, he acts as Head Customer Liaison for SKAN for the newly created department pre-approved services. Thomas holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Ulm and has completed an executive MBA at the University of Giessen-Friedberg.
