Sam Zhang, PhD, has over 17 years of industry experience in rProtein expression, cell line and process development, and CMC management. In his current role as Vice President and Head of Microbial and Viral Platforms at WuXi Biologics, Sam leads innovative efforts across microbial, mRNA/LNP, and HEK293 technologies. His career spans key leadership roles at leading organizations, including Pfizer, Amgen, and Abbott/AbbVie. Sam received his PhD from UC San Diego.
