Julius Koch is a PhD candidate in the Antibody Discovery & Protein Engineering department of Merck KGaA, supervised by Stefan Zielonka and in collaboration with the group of Prof. Dr. Harald Kolmar at the Technical University of Darmstadt. His research work focuses on the generation and engineering of bi- and multispecific antibody derivatives for immunological and immunoncological therapies. He completed his Master's in Biomolecular Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt in 2025. He has an expertise in hit-discovery, assay development and in-vitro characterization of biological therapeutics.
