Philippa Davies, Mission Lead, Satellite Applications Catapult

Philippa Davies is Mission Lead for Autonomous & Connected Earth at the Satellite Applications Catapult, where she leads strategy and technology development for space-enabled connectivity and autonomy. Her work focuses on unlocking the potential of space technologies to enable future Network of Networks - from seamless connectivity to the safe and scalable adoption of autonomous systems across land, sea, and air. Prior to joining the Catapult, Philippa served as Engineering and Technology Director at a high-tech UK propulsion company, where she led the development of next-generation aerospace systems and complex technology programmes. She brings deep experience in systems integration, applied engineering, and mission delivery expertise to the future of mobility, infrastructure, and digital services. As a speaker at Connected Britain 2025, Philippa will share her insights on the evolving landscape of connectivity in the UK and the role that satellite applications play in shaping the future of communication infrastructure.
