Kayla has over 10 years in technical leadership and business development, designing innovative solutions to complex problems, managing client relationships, and leading cross-functional teams.   Currently helping to establish the AI Programme within the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Kayla works closely with local researchers and companies to identify AI-driven solutions that enhance inclusivity and accessibility, ultimately improving the quality of life for residents and visitors. Through collaboration and documentation, Kayla is helping drive the establishment of AI strategy within the region, working to ensure all sectors’ priorities are heard and understood. Previously, Kayla held roles in business development, data science, and project management, including leading international initiatives at Booz Allen Hamilton. They have guided multi-agency projects, supported AI/ML integration, and championed diversity in tech. Kayla also played a pivotal role in developing marketing strategies for high-performance computing technologies, strengthening client relationships, and delivering actionable insights through data science. Through her work, she continues to empower teams and foster collaborative environments that drive innovation while advancing mission-critical goals.
