In addition, he was involved in the development of processes for the production of viruses for vaccine purposes (influenza, rabies, polio). During the last years he was involved in the development and scale-up of production and purification processes for viral vectors starting at the Inst. Pasteur in Paris and continuing as head of the department of Bioprocess Development at Généthon. Since 2010 he is in charge of the group of Applied Vectorology and Innovation in view of the optimisation of vector production at a molecular as well engineering level.
