George Kopas, Vice President, Finance & Operations, Ting Internet

After joining the Tucows Finance team in 2017, George transitioned to Ting in 2019 to help establish, scale and lead the Finance function in support of Ting’s ongoing organic growth, strategic expansion, acquisitions, and capital requirements. With over a decade of audit and public company financial experience, George straddles both Finance and Operations, enabling a vital bridge between the two to propel business growth.  During his initial years at Tucows, George held a wide range of roles and responsibilities, which provided him exposure to all Tucows’ businesses and Corporate Finance matters. Prior to Tucows, George spent several years at Deloitte focused on public company audits and valuations in the Financial Institution and Technology sectors. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. George holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
