CHUCK WIEBE, Managing Director - New York, NY

Mr. Wiebe joined Moorgate Partners in 2022 as a Managing Director to advise digital infrastructure companies and has over 25 years of investment banking and investing experience. Prior to joining Moorgate, Mr. Wiebe was a Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey and member of the Broadband Team within the firm’s Technology practice. Houlihan Lokey had purchased his previous firm, MVP Capital, in 2020. At MVP, he provided a range of M&A and capital markets advisory services to clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining MVP Capital, Mr. Wiebe co-founded BIA Capital Strategies, a communications-focused investment bank, and BIA Digital Partners, a mezzanine-focused fund that invested in 37 media-, telecommunications-, and information-based businesses.

Mr. Wiebe is the immediate Past Chair of the Suburban Hospital Board of Trustees in Bethesda, Maryland, and was a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Board of Trustees.

Mr. Wiebe holds a B.A. with distinction from Cornell University as a Cornell National Scholar and was a member of its back-to-back NCAA champion Men’s Lacrosse teams.
