Patrick Loerch joined Gilead in 2020 as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Data Science where he is responsible for bringing together the data science and technology functions across Development to build an industry-leading, integrated evidence and insights generation function spanning Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Real World Evidence, Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Bioinformatics and Development Systems. He has over 20 years of experience in data sciences, real-world evidence and genomics research spanning all phases of R&D within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Gilead, he held leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, Celgene, and Merck. Patrick earned his PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University and his BS in Biochemistry from Washington State University.
