Maros Huliciak, Ph.D. is the Director of the Centre of Molecular Structure at the Institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where he leads the development of cutting-edge research infrastructure and technologies for structural biology and protein engineering. Prior to his current role, he worked at Emory University School of Medicine in the fields of biochemistry and immunology, where his research resulted in three U.S. patents and numerous high-impact scientific publications. He obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and his current research focuses on protein engineering, cell-free protein synthesis, structural biology, and the development of innovative platforms for biomedical research and drug discovery.
