Lars Hulstaert is Director of Data Science within Johnson & Johnson’s R&D organization, where he leads teams developing AI solutions to support clinical study design, planning, and execution. He combines strong academic rigor in machine learning with a software engineering background and pharmaceutical expertise, gained across both commercial and R&D organizations. Lars previously worked at Microsoft and holds an MPhil in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge.
