Andreas leads the team responsible for consulting, implementation, delivery services, and project management for Elsevier’s Life Sciences customers. He has more than 20 years’ experience at the intersection of technology and life sciences, with deep expertise in AI/ML integration, digital transformation, data strategy, bioinformatics, and precision medicine. His work focuses on helping pharmaceutical R&D organisations apply data, analytics, and technology to accelerate drug discovery and development. Before joining Elsevier, Andreas held leadership roles at Excelra, Amazon Web Services, where he led Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner Technology, and Sanofi, where he was Head of Digital Translational Medicine. He has also held senior roles at Lokavant, Thomson Reuters, and BioReference Laboratories. Andreas is based in Boston.
