Alexander Schurer is the Director of Life Science Strategy at Causaly, partnering with executive leaders across the world's top 50 biopharmaceutical companies to advance the use of AI in drug discovery and development. He owns full-cycle commercial responsibility for a portfolio of strategic accounts, working directly with C-suite, scientific, and technical leaders to turn their AI ambition into adoption across Research, Development and Medical functions. Alexander brings more than a decade of strategy consulting experience, including over seven years at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey & Company, where he led cross- functional teams across 50 or more engagements spanning Discovery, Development, and Commercial strategy for global biopharma and biotech clients. Trained as an Industrial Engineer and holding an MBA from the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Jesus College, Alexander combines technical depth with commercial acumen to help life sciences organisations convert AI ambition into measurable scientific and business impact.
