Ronen Yochpaz | CIO, Head of Information Technology

Dr. Ronen Yochpaz is the Chief information officer of EL AL airline since July, 2023. 

In this role, he will be responsible for leading the technological transformation, development of information systems and digital infrastructures, cyber matters, big data, and the company's future AI field.

Prior to assuming his position, Yochpaz served in several senior managerial and technological positions at Bank Hapoalim, most recently the Development manager, responsible for building the Bank's business products and services, including the processes of modernization and transformation.

In the past, Dr. Yochpaz founded and held senior positions in various startups such as VNT Software and VeNotion technologies.

Dr. Yochpaz holds several degrees in computer science (BSc), economics, business administration (MBA), and a doctorate in information systems (PhD) in the cloud arena.
