Marco is responsible for global business development of IBS Software’s passenger services product portfolio, a PSS with a truly customer centric proposition, supported by next-gen order management and merchandising capabilities. Marco has over 20 years’ experience in travel, aviation, and travel technology. Armed with this comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, he works with IBS´s growing set of airline customers to tailor the right solution fit. Prior to joining IBS in 2016, Marco worked for TUI, Sabre and immediately prior to IBS, at airberlin, where he was in charge of the airline’s IT strategy and solutions. With experience of both supplier and buyer sides, Marco has a deep commercial understanding of the airline industry that has helped him successfully work with numerous reputable airline across geographies to implement solutions that drive efficiency gains and increased revenues.
