Business Development Director – Aviation, 1PointFive Ian Collier is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience as a strategic and analytical business leader. He supports the aviation sector in advancing decarbonization goals through the use of carbon dioxide removal technologies. Mr. Collier’s background spans hydrogen, industrial gases, and carbon removal, including the development of the world’s largest green hydrogen facility. At 1PointFive, he works with strategic partners across policy, regulatory, commercial, and technology domains to scale deployment of Carbon Engineering’s Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology at STRATOS, the world’s largest commercial DAC facility. He is also actively engaged in shaping the greenhouse gas removals (GGR) policy landscape and contributes to the UK government’s Jet Zero Taskforce as a member of the GGR working group.
