Greg Welsh holds a Masters Degree in Engineering Asset Management and is a globally recognised expert in Baggage Handling Systems and Baggage Operations. With over 25 years’ experience in BHS and Airport Operations, he is currently overseeing the installation of a new state of the art BHS at Australia’s newest airport, the greenfield Western Sydney International Airport. He is Chairman of the Global BHS Working Group which sees 194 members from 88 airports across 37 countries attending regular BHS Working Group to share knowledge on BHS matters. He is also a member of the committee who are writing and revising the IATA BHS standards for the IATA Airport Development Reference Manual.
