Wan Ling Wong, Consulting and Strategic Marketer, Banking and Technology Sectors

Wong Wan Ling considers herself a “specialized generalist”. Having spent her career traversing between the role of ‘client’ and ‘vendor’ across the technology and banking world, she finds herself with a unique experience in the application of loyalty and CRM in cards and payments. In a life not so long ago, she headed up the loyalty business unit in Maybank and then at OCBC, and led the APAC marketing efforts for a leading loyalty technology provider Welcome Real-time. She has delivered consulting and training services to client banks and their partner merchants across APAC in loyalty technology application and programme design. Her latest exploits in include the role of operations lead in PayPal for its life cycle management programme and a part-time ghost writer. She considers herself an oxymoronic eccentric pragmatist and is extremely partial to single malt whiskies.
