Shane Worthington | Chief Digital Officer

Shane is the Chief Digital Officer at the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the national Vocational Education and Training (VET) regulator. Shane is currently overseeing a business-led, multi-year transformation, modernising ASQA’s infrastructure, business tools, processes and systems. This transformation will position ASQA as a modern, best-practice regulator, helping drive the government’s skills agenda. 

Shane has over 10 years’ experience in government digital transformation across a number of agencies. His passion is around human-centred design and ensuring the voice of the customer is centre to any transformation activities. 

Shane has a Master’s of Business Administration, majoring in Digital Transformation from the University of Southern Queensland, and also post-graduate qualifications in Public Sector Management.
