Join us to learn about the new features of Swift Playgrounds 4 - the best and easiest way to learn to code and develop apps. This session explores implementing coding programs with the Everyone Can Code curriculum in the upper primary and secondary using iPad. It will deep dive into the new features of Swift Playgrounds 4 and walk through the steps educators and students will take when building their own apps to support problem-solving and deeper learning in the curriculum on iPad.

In this workshop we will explore fun, constructive and creative activities using the built-in features of iPad. Designed for children in the lower grades, these activities can easily be tailored for any year level. From personifying an object to creating a comic strip, discover how student voice and ideas come to life on iPad.

This session builds on Build Apps with Playgrounds 4 and explores implementing coding programs with the Everyone Can Code curriculum in secondary using iPad. It will deep dive into the new features of Swift Playgrounds 4 and walk through how educators can support students using SwiftUI to create an app from a new, blank app project.
