Kim is the Curriculum specialist, Technologies at ACARA. She was a key member of the Digital Technologies in focus project, from 2017-2021, supporting schools across NSW to implement the Digital Tecchnologies curriculum from an action research perspective. Previously, Kim has held a position of Head of Integrated Technologies at the British International school in Singapore for seven years. She has extensive experience in the field of early childhood / primary education, specialising in Digital Literacy education. As lead consultant, Kim supported the Ministry of Education, Singapore to implement their playmaker program of non-screen-based coding/programming into 200 preschools. She is passionate about change in technology, focusing on pedagogy and curriculum integration support. For many years, she has worked with leadership teams, teachers, students and industry to support the introduction and inclusion of digital tools across all areas and all year levels of the UK and Australian Curriculum. Her most recent studies of a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security, provides a strong research base for supporting privacy and security in the Australian Curriculum.
