Elizabeth is an experienced executive with a demonstrable track record in transformation and innovative leadership in applying technology as a transformation agent for business change.  Elizabeth is passionate about education and gender diversity in technology.
Elizabeth’s current role is CIO at the Department of Education and Training, Victoria.  This role has oversight of one of the largest IT networks in Australia, with a team of over 1100 staff providing services to more than 1550 schools as well as the Department’s Early Childhood, Schools and Higher Education portfolio and program areas.  Elizabeth has initiated a program to uplift the Department’s capability in both cloud technology platforms and people to provide new digital services to teaching, learning and corporate environments.
