Mark is Director of Curriculum and Student Performance at Nord Anglia. In this role he leads the development and implementation of a strategic and world-class curriculum model that drives the very best student outcomes.

Prior to joining Nord Anglia Education in 2011, Mark served as Senior National Policy Adviser at the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency where he played a leading role in developing the English National Curriculum. He was responsible for the primary and early years curriculum introduced into England, and worked with a thousand co-development schools for the implementation.

Mark has extensive international experience at both policy and school levels, having worked on curriculum in countries including China, the Maldives and in the European Union. A science teacher by background, Mark has also led as Head of Science in London schools, teaching A-level Physics and science more generally.
