Takahiro Kashima is currently a Senior Strategy Professional specializing in submarine networks at NEC Corporation. He has been involved in the submarine network business since 2017, since which time he has played a role in successfully delivering multiple transoceanic  cable projects. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for international business, spearheading the sales promotion of advanced IT and Telecommunications network solutions. Takahiro also manage Environmental Stragegy of NEC Corporation. He has an M.A. in Earth and Planetary Science, where his research focused on the simulation of climate change at the University of Tokyo.
