René joined the OMS Group in 2023 as Telco group COO. René previously oversaw the global business development of services provided by Fugro to the subsea cable industry such as desktop studies and route surveys. René was employed by Fugro for over 20 years, he headed the offshore positioning service line in the Asia Pacific region between 2002 and 2009. He participated in the creation of a global cable expertise service line within Fugro group. In 2009 he became responsible for managing Fugro Hydrographic Services in Asia Pacific. René is an active member of the SubOptic community and the ICPC.
