We offer a complete distribution wholesale service for solar PV throughout the UK, from product selection and installation support through to system troubleshooting. We have been operating since 1984 and during that time have built up an extensive client base and excellent reputation based on considerable hands on experience and continuing product knowledge.

Wind & Sun has evolved from being a wind and solar PV installation company to now offering an extensive distribution and support service to the growing number of MCS accredited installers.

We were instrumental in helping develop some of the original standards around which MCS is based but no longer install ourselves, instead referring enquiries to recommended members of our installer network.

1994: UK’s first domestic grid connected solar PV (photovoltaic) system
1994: UK distributors for SMA inverters
1995: UK’s first solar PV roof tile installation
1996: UK’s first Sunny Boy installation (solar PV)
1998: UK’s first domestic grid connected wind turbine and development of ‘Windy Boy’ inverter with SMA
2003: UK’s first Sunny Island installation
2006-2007: Installation of pioneering whole island grid systems
