Kyte Powertech is a leading manufacturer of oil-filled distribution transformers, supplying utility, renewable, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. With nearly five decades of experience, Kyte Powertech designs, engineers, and manufactures all transformers on site at its 17,500 sqm facility in Cavan, Ireland, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 6,500 MVA, equating to over 16,000 transformers per year.

Our portfolio supports a wide range of grid applications, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems, hybrid renewable projects, data centres, and wider distribution networks. We place strong emphasis on in-house design, testing, and quality control, ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements and delivering reliable, long-life assets for critical energy infrastructure. Sustainable transformer solutions, including ester-filled options, form a core part of our offering as networks transition towards lower-carbon operation.
