Ms. Diệp Thị Kim Hoàn is the Chief Sustainability Officer of DEEP C Industrial Zones, one of Vietnam’s leading integrated industrial park developers and a national pioneer in eco-industrial transformation. With more than 15 years of leadership experience at DEEP C, she has played a central role in driving the organization’s long-term sustainability strategy, shaping its transition toward low-carbon, circular, and resilient industrial infrastructure.
Hoàn oversees DEEP C’s flagship green-transition initiatives—including pilot solar and wind energy deployment within industrial zones, circular water and waste systems, and the development of closed-loop urban-industrial symbiosis models. She also leads programs modernizing DEEP C’s utilities, most notably the large-scale replacement of traditional halogen streetlights with smart LED lighting from Signify across four DEEP C industrial zones.
Prior to becoming CSO, Hoàn served as Head of Sustainability and Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO for 14 years, giving her a uniquely comprehensive understanding of DEEP C’s operations, partnerships, and long-term development roadmap. Her work is shaped by a belief that sustainable industrial growth is both achievable and essential for Vietnam’s competitiveness.
Hoàn holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Translation and Interpretation from Hanoi University and has completed multiple international leadership and sustainability programs, including the Swedish Institute Global Executive Programme, Future Leadership Development Programme, and certifications in Business Sustainability Management and Climate Action under the Paris Agreement.
