Wanich Sawayo | Waste and Hazardous Substance Management Specialist

Ms. Wanich Sawayo is a specialist on Waste and Hazardous Substances Management at Pollution Control Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand. She was formerly Director of Waste Minimization Subdivision and Director of Hazardous Waste Subdivision. She has many years of experience on solid waste management by 3R (Reduce Reuse Recycle), plastic waste management by circular economy and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) management. Ms. Sawayo is responsible for supporting public-private partnerships. She is involved in various environmental projects that relate to 3R policy and circular economy with focus on waste management for prevention and control of environmental problems. Ms. Sawayo holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.
