Sean Michael Pomperada is a renewable energy professional with over a decade of experience in the Philippine solar industry, particularly in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. He is a founding member, Board Trustee, and the current Corporate Secretary of ReNew Gen Energy Circle (RGEC), a non-stock, non-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing renewable energy practitioners in the Philippines through capacity building, technical research, and policy dialogue that supports a just and inclusive energy transition. He has been involved in developing projects from concept to execution, with expertise in business development, financial modeling, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and strategic partnerships. He currently serves as Solar Project Development Manager at SunAsia Energy, where he leads the business and project development 1.3GWp floating PV project, the country’s largest. Throughout his career, Sean has held roles at TotalEnergies Renewables Philippines, Jinko Solar, Solar Philippines, and Surya Source Energy, contributing to the growth of both distributed generation and utility-scale renewable energy projects nationwide.
