Engr. Riedo Panaligan is the President of the non-profit think tank group Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (CREST). He also holds leadership roles in various international and local climate and energy networks such as the Climate Action Network International (CAN); Center for Empowerment, Innovation and Training on Renewable Energy (CENTRE) and Aksyon Klima Pilipinas. He is a registered electronics engineer and earned his Masters on International Business Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, Germany. In the last
five years, he helped deploy decentralized, community energy systems in more than 30 climate vulnerable communities benefiting more than 2,000 families across the Philippines.
