Mike Contreras is Vice President at Xpress, the Philippines' first Transport Network Company to deploy electric vehicles at scale, where he leads strategy formulation, business planning, and supports company's ongoing EV expansion. He concurrently serves as Senior Assistant Vice President at P.J. Lhuillier, Inc, where he heads the Finance Business Management Partner Division. In this role, he oversees opportunity identification and business development activities across the group's financial services and selected business units and investments, including Xpress. Prior to joining the PJLI, Mike spent six years at Nomura Research Institute Singapore Manila Branch, rising to Senior Consultant in the Business Strategy Sector, advising and supporting clients across automotive, transportation, financial services, energy, logistics, and retail industries on market entry and growth strategy across ASEAN. He holds a Master's in Environmental Management and an undergraduate degree in Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
