Michel Brekelmans is an experienced business advisor with 30 years of experience in supporting business executives and investors in business strategy, performance improvement and M&A, predominantly in Asia. Michel spent 20 years with L.E.K. Consulting (www.lek.com), one of the leading global strategy consulting firms headquartered in London. He was a Senior Partner at L.E.K. and moved to Asia in 2002.  He was head of L.E.K.’s Singapore office and moved to Shanghai in 2006 where he led L.E.K.'s Greater China practice for 10 years and was a member of L.E.K.’s Asia Regional Management Committee. In 2017, Michel relocated back to Singapore with his family and launched a boutique strategy consulting firm, SCP/Asia (https://scpartnersasia.com).  SCP/Asia helps clients by creating clarity and consensus on what drives the value of their business and by working collaboratively to develop strategies, evaluate investments and implement solutions that are highly focused on driving growth and profitability of the business. Michel has focused his expertise within the B2B and consumer industries, completing over 250 projects of which a significant portion has been for clients in the wider cleantech and renewable space.    When clients are faced with complex business challenges and major investments they turn to Michel and his team and partners to crystallise business options and build consensus around the most appropriate actions going forward.  Michel and his team are adept at deploying a wide range of tools and capabilities to support their clients, from designing customer market research and data analytics to facilitating strategy workshops with the executive team and board.
