Ypatios Moysiadis’ early life in an industrial coal‑mining town in Northwest Greece shaped both his values and his professional trajectory, instilling a deep commitment to sustainability that has guided his career for nearly two decades. Since 2006, he has worked across the renewable energy sector, building end‑to‑end expertise in the development, construction, financing, and long‑term management of solar, storage, and other mainstream renewable technologies. His career spans senior roles with leading UK and international organisations including Galliford Try Group, Grupotec, Foresight Group, BayWa r.e., Voltalia Group and Macquarie GIG, giving him broad exposure across the full renewable‑energy value chain and multiple global markets. Ypatios now serves as Head of Sales for the UK, Ireland, and Denmark at Belectric, a globally recognised EPC and O&M provider. In this role, he works at the forefront of large‑scale solar and battery storage deployment, supporting the delivery of high‑performance, utility‑scale clean‑energy infrastructure. In parallel, Ypatios contributes to the sector’s broader development as a visiting lecturer at Bayes Business School in London and ESCP Business School in Paris, where he teaches on renewable‑energy markets and entrepreneurial innovation. He is also an active writer and commentator, promoting the acceleration of the global energy transition.
