I am a public health professional and health equity advocate who believes that health is for all—and that where people live should not determine their access to quality healthcare. Through Pelita Khatulistiwa, I work alongside a multidisciplinary team bringing together expertise in health, engineering, technology, partnerships, and community engagement to address one of the practical barriers faced by health facilities in remote areas: reliable access to electricity. By supporting the installation of solar energy systems in remote Puskesmas, we help strengthen the enabling environment for essential health services. My work is driven by a simple belief: improving health access requires us to look beyond healthcare itself and work across sectors to find practical, sustainable solutions for communities that are often the hardest to reach.
