Mahaendra Gofar is a seasoned automotive executive and the founder of EVSafe Indonesia, the country's pioneering institute for EV safety. With over 25 years of international automotive industry experience, he has held various leadership functions with luxury brands in Europe and Asia, including senior management positions at Lotus and Audi. For the last decade Mahaendra has been involved in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility ecosystem, establishing EV competence centers and low carbon-footprint operations along the global automotive value chain, from product development to aftersales, including the supporting ecosystem. He is also currently the principal technology advisor for Indonesia's national EV project.  
With a background in engineering and a deep understanding of the automotive industry, Mahaendra's expertise in the EV industry has been instrumental in shaping the future of electric mobility in Indonesia, making Indonesia’s EV journey safer, smarter, and more sustainable. his innovative approach to EV safety has helped EVSafe Indonesia to establish itself as a trusted partner for CPOs, installers, government agencies, and fleets looking to invest in Indonesia's EV ecosystem.
