Gilarsi Wahju Setijono | Chief Executive Officer

Indonesian citizen, 62 years old, Gilarsi Wahju Setijono has served as the President Director VKTR since 2022. He is an accomplished executive with over 35 years of experience in various industries including automotive, logistics, investment, engineering, manufacturing, and electronics. Concurrently, he serves as the Independent Commissioner at PT Satria Antaran Prima Tbk since 2021. Prior to joining VKTR, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) from 2015 to 2020. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Adyawinsa Autobody from 2012 to 2015. Prior to Adyawinsa, he acted as the Chief Executive Officer of Shafira Corporation between 2008 and 2012, then acted as its Commissioner at the same company from 2012 to 2015. 
He was the Managing Director of Psi Technologies Inc. and Merrill Lynch Investment from 2006 to 2008. He spent a tenure at Philips in a number of positions, including: Director of Philips Lighting Electronics Asia Pacific (2005-2006); Director of Philips Lighting Luminaires ASEAN and Pacific (2004-2005); Business Restructuring Director of Philips Lighting Luminaires ASEAN and Pacific (2002-2004); GM and Operations Manager of Philips Lightning (1997-2002). Earlier, he served as the Plant Manager at KDI Ceramic Tile Manufacture from 1995 to 1997, as a Senior Manager at PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk from 1991 to 1994, and as a Production Manager at Upprindo Utama from 1987 to 1991. 
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1987.
