Winnie Lui,  Head of Investment, 5B Winnie is a banking and finance professional with over 15 years of international experience.  At 5B, she has led the company’s strategic investment and capital transactions across the capital spectrum since 2021, to finance the company’s technological development and overseas expansion. Since her commencement at 5B, the company has successfully raised capital from multinational corporates and financial institutions including AES Corp, BP and Artesian.  In her current role at 5B, Winnie also works closely with governmental agencies mandated to promote and support the growth of tech businesses, advanced manufacturing and renewable energy in Australia and around the world.   Prior to joining 5B, she worked at Citigroup Global Markets, specializing in structured finance and cross-border transactions.  Over a period of almost 15 years, she covered the APAC and LATAM regions respectively, closing syndicated transactions in a range of industries, including energy and chemicals, power and infrastructure, transportation, mining and telecom.  She began her career as a lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons. Winnie is an EnergyLab Women in Climate and Energy Fellow and is a graduate of the University of Sydney (B. Econ, LLB) and the University of New South Wales (LLM).
