A bit about Tessa:
Tessa Lees is the Sustainability Manager at The Arnott’s Group, custodian of some of Australia’s most iconic food brands.
Having completed an honours degree in Environmental Management at the University of Queensland, she first joined the business in 2021 as a Sustainability Graduate as part of the business’ inaugural graduate program before being promoted into the Sustainability Manager role.
Tessa is responsible for driving The Group’s sustainability progress, providing oversight across the company’s three key sustainability pillars and four main sustainability commitments, that cover emissions, packaging, procurement, nutrition and inclusion.
With an ambitious net zero target, Tessa has been responsible for overseeing the installation of large-scale solar power systems at two of the Group’s biggest manufacturing sites in Sydney and Brisbane and the compilation of scope 3 data and future emissions reduction initiatives.
Outside of work she has her hands full with two inhouse biscuit tasters, her daughters, Ruby and Matilda.
