Lulu Shao is the Director of Power Systems at the Energy Corporation of NSW, where her expertise in power system planning, power electronics, and engineering design drives the development of Renewable Energy Zone projects in New South Wales. Previously, Lulu was a planning lead at Transgrid, overseeing major transmission projects and actively contributing to interconnector upgrades and transmission capacity enhancements. Lulu has over 17 years of experience in the power industry, and her commitment to clean energy and academic excellence, backed by a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland and ongoing studies towards an MBA at Monash University. Active in industry working groups and serving as a CIGRE C1 panel member, Lulu is dedicated to collaboration and innovation in the energy sector.
