With over 20 years of diverse experience, John de Bruyn has made contributions in both the private sector and the NSW Government. His expertise spans architecture, urban sustainability, solar passive design, building thermal comfort, renewable energy, climate change adaptation, and economic transition planning. As Manager for NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW DCCEEW) in the Energy Programs Branch, John leads efforts to facilitate orderly climate change and energy transitions in New South Wales through the design and delivery of small to medium scale solar and renewable energy programs.
