With 55 electric buses, a sizeable rooftop solar array, an onsite battery and integrated charging infrastructure, Leichhardt is Australia’s largest electrified bus depot. Join key stakeholders Smart Commercial Solar and Zenobe as they present a live case study exploring the depot’s transformation, featuring insights from both client and contractor. 

Propelled by a vision for a zero-emission future by 2030, this landmark project created headlines around Australia upon completion. With 368kWh of rooftop solar PV and a 2.5MW Tesla MegaPack, the project achieved a 21.8% energy reduction and annual CO2 savings of 6759.5T. It stands as a blueprint for the electrification of transport depots moving forward.
