What time does the show start?
Registration will open at 9am and you can get access to the exhibition at 9.30am. The conferences will start at 10am sharp.
How to get there?
The Solar & Wind Show will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC).
If you are driving into the venue, please enter through Gate 4. There are ample paid and unpaid parking lots within the EIEC and AICC complex. There are 3,500 paid parking lots inside the complex, with 1,100 opposite Hall 3 & 4, and 1,000 free parking lots outside the boundary wall of the complex.
If you are flying into Egypt, the EIEC is only 18 kms from the Cairo International Airport and just over 3 hours’ drive away from Alexandria International Airport.
Car parking is available for organizers, exhibitors, sponsors and visitors and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is a small parking fee per day, and you must remember to bring Egyptian Pounds (EGP) in cash to cover this.
Overnight parking is not allowed. An administrative fine will be applicable for any vehicles left overnight or parked incorrectly and / or causing obstruction to other road users. EIEC & AICC is at full discretion to remove all vehicles remaining in the car park after the permitted period.

How will I get my badge?
Just head to the registration desks outside Hall 3, you can print your badge with one of our helpful registration team.
I haven’t pre-registered, can I register onsite?
Yes, just make sure to bring a business card – students can’t access the show.
Is there free WiFI?
No, there is no free WiFi at the venue.
Banking Services, ATMs, & Cash
The venue, suppliers and outlets at the venue do not accept card payments. We recommend you bring Egyptian Pounds (EGP) with you to the event. If required, there are available ATM machines outside the entrance to each hall. Supplier payments pre-event can be made via bank transfer but for all onsite orders only cash is accepted.
Business Center
The nearest business centre in the complex is in Plaza 2 between Exhibition Halls 3 and 4.
The available services at business centre are:

Catering Facilities
EIEC & AICC holds the exclusive rights to all catering services within the complex.
As per the Hygiene and Food Safety regulations laid out by Egyptian Food Safety Authority, any food or beverages from outside is not allowed to be brought into the premises from contractors, exhibitors, sponsors, visitors or any third parties. This rule applies to the items meant for consumption on the premises, as well as giveaways that will be handed over at the venue and consumed outside.
Visitors are welcome to purchase food and beverage from the outlets available within the complex or order directly from EIEC catering service. To order catering to your stand please refer to the Official Suppliers List.
Children or persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted to the exhibition floor during the build-up, open period or breakdown. This rule is applicable to all parties - exhibitors, contractors and visitors and will be strictly enforced to comply with safety regulations.
Please note that no child-care facilities are located on-site.
Disabilities Facilities
In respect of the people of determination, wheelchair access is made available throughout the complex, including several reserved parking spaces. Toilets are located in Al-Manara Complex and all exhibition halls also have special disabled access, whilst all doorways and lifts accommodate standard wheelchairs and have low-level buttons. Visitor wheelchairs are subject to availability and can be borrowed from our Emergency Medical Services Station, located in Plaza 1 and Plaza 2.
Emergency Medical Services
EIEC & AICC aims at maintaining a safe and healthy environment for everyone within the complex at all times, provided by and professionally run by a dedicated Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department. The certified and highly skilled medical team provides rapid emergency response, from immediate care for medical conditions, to swift hospital transport.
There are 3 EMS stations, they are partly or fully operational depending on events locations. Their locations are as follows:
Station 1: located at AICC ground floor
Station 2: located at EIEC Plaza 1 between Exhibition Halls 1 and 2
Station 3: located at EIEC Plaza 2 between Exhibition Halls 3 and 4
The EMS team is available from 08:00 to 22:00 during build-up and break-down.
During show days, this service is operational from 1 hour prior to the start of the event to 1 hour after the show closes.
Prayer Rooms
The men’s prayer room is on the ground floor in Plaza 2 in between Halls 3 & 4.
The women’s prayer rooms are located on the Mezzanine floor in Plaza 2 in between Halls 3 & 4.
How do I get CPD points?
There are 12 CPD points available if you attend the event for two full days. You need to make sure you sign in at the CPD desk next to the registration desk. Then when you leave for the day, make sure to sign out. You’ll also need to make note of the sessions you attend. You’ll be sent a CPD certificate to your email within a month after the event. You will get CPD points depending on how many sessions you attended and how long you spent at the event. 
Where can I buy refreshments at the event?
There will be a café within the exhibition where you can grab coffee, tea, snacks and lunch. There are also some great food options at the venue where you can get lunch.
As per Egypt’s law, the Egypt International Exhibition Centre is declared as non-smoking complex including all public area, registration desk, exhibition floor, elevators, meeting rooms, and organizer’s office. Smoking is allowed only in the designated areas outside the exhibition halls.
How do I get a VIP badge?
The VIP badges are for Vice Presidents, Heads of Department, CXOs, and CEOs. With a VIP badge you will get access to the Keynote Conference room and Networking Lounge. There is an application process to get a VIP badge, and they will only be provided to the aforementioned job titles.

How do I get the conference documentation /presentations?
Presentations will be made available within 2 weeks from the show. All attendees will receive a link to these by email.

Egypt International Exhibition Center is only 18 kms away from the Cairo International Airport and just over 3 hours drive from Alexandria. El Moshir El Tantawy highway connects it with main roads leading to and from Cairo International Airport. Is there parking at the venue?

There is paid and unpaid parking available in and out of EIEC complex. First 1,000 attendees can park for free just outside the boundary wall of EIEC so we’d recommend getting there early to secure a parking space. Alternatively, there are 3,500 paid parking lots inside the EIEC complex.

How do I log into the Networking App?

The Networking app is called Terrapinn Events. You can download the Terrapinn events app from the app store or you can access it on desktop. This can be used to:

-Send direct messages to all attendees (depending on your access rights) VIPS, sponsor staff and speakers only

-Plan and manage your meeting schedule to take place at the show

-Keep up to date with the agenda, social feeds and floor plan

It is accessible on iPhones, Android devices and any web-enabled device - simply search for "Terrapinn Events" in your app store.

What’s my networking app login details and password?

You can retrieve log-in details by clicking here , if in case you forgot your password but if this is unsuccessful, please pass by the Networking Lounge where the networking team will be able to assist you.

Lots of useful things! You can view the full agenda on the app, and even ‘favourite’ the sessions you don’t want to miss. You can also use the app to set up meetings with other attendees and check out the list of exhibitors.
