Wale Odugbesan is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Royal Power and Energy Limited (RPE), a leading provider of innovative and sustainable energy solutions. With over 8 years of leadership experience in the power and infrastructure sector, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s vision to deliver reliable, clean, and efficient power across Nigeria. A graduate of the University of Manchester with a BA in Accounting and Business Information Systems, ‘Wale is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA). Under his leadership, RPE has expanded its footprint in solar, hybrid, and backup power solutions, delivering large-scale projects for industrial, banking, telecoms and government clients. Adewale champions innovation, local capacity development, and sustainability — positioning the company at the forefront of Africa’s energy transition. His multidisciplinary background equips him with a unique blend of technical acumen and business insight, enabling him to drive value and deliver impactful results in complex environments. Passionate about energy access and policy reform, he regularly engages with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and international partners to advocate for resilient and inclusive energy systems.
