Satyaki Banerjee, Group COO, LUXASIA Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Satyaki Banerjee is the Group COO of Luxasia Pte. Ltd. He joined Luxasia in August 2016 to transform the leading Asia Pacific beauty distributor into an omni-channel leader, adding consumer centric eCommerce and digital capabilities to the existing brick-and-mortar foundation. This was complemented by organic and inorganic footprint expansion into Australia, India and Sri Lanka, and today Luxasia has a presence in 15 countries across the region. Satyaki also built and leads the eCommerce enabler business, which was recognized as one of the top eCommerce enablers in SEA by Forrester in 2020, working with many brands across categories including Beauty, FMCG, toys, eyewear and fashion.
Prior to Luxasia, Satyaki was the Vice President of eCommerce logistics (Last Mile Delivery) at Singapore Post Limited from August 2014 to August 2016. In addition to being the Director for the development of the Singapore Logistics Hub, Satyaki led the eCommerce LMD businesses in India, Philippines and Thailand. He also led the investment and post-merger integration for Singapore Post’s Australian investments (Couriers Please, Hubbed).
Before that, Satyaki spent 6 years (June 2008 – June 2014) at McKinsey & Company. He was a senior Engagement Manager based out of the Singapore Office and primarily worked in the Consumer, Energy, and Transportation and Logistics sectors. During his tenure at McKinsey and Company, with a focus on Operations and Corporate Finance, Satyaki worked on many transformations in Asia and Europe.
Satyaki holds a M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is a keen investor in / and mentor to start-ups in the consumer, eCommerce and technology space.
