The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of the business community in Malaysia. Our goal is to promote and support the growth and development of the industry and business sector in the country. We are committed to provide a platform for industry leaders to come together and discuss the current economic and business climate in Malaysia, as well as to address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
NCCIM was founded in 1962 by the Cabinet of the Government of the Federation of Malaya. It was re-organized in 1974 to include the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and now has over 700,000 members from five constituent chambers. These chambers are Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM), The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (MAICCI), Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), and Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). The NCCIM operates based on a consensus among its constituent members to achieve internal equanimity of opinion.
The NCCIM aims to promote, protect, and foster the interests of corporations and individuals engaged in commerce and industry in Malaysia. This includes facilitating discussions on relevant issues, collecting and sharing information, representing members' interests to the government and other organizations, coordinating with the public and private sector, promoting regional and international trade, and undertaking any other activities that support its objectives.
