Nancy Ozbek, General Manager - Mall Division/Time Square Centre, Sharaf Group

Mall Division General Manager, Sharaf Group Nancy Ozbek is a career retail industry professional with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to joining the dynamic team at Sharaf Group as the Mall Division General Manager responsible for Times Square Center, & Dubai Jewel Tower, located in Dubai and Al Masa Mall in Oman, Nancy held several leadership positions across various renowned malls and community centers in the UAE. Nancy commenced her retail journey as the Leasing Manager of Al Hanaa Centre and after six years of moved to Al Ghurair Centre as the Senior Leasing Manager. She has then held progressively more senior leadership roles in the retail sector, including two years as the Senior Head of Leasing in Nakheel’s Ibn Battuta Mall, where she provided oversight and project management on all project initiatives across the mall including managing the relocation process of existing tenants to the second phase of the mall. Nancy implemented a successful sustainability action plan and concluded 275 renewals at Ibn Battuta back in 2009. She was also the Head of Leasing at Deerfields Town Square Center in Abu Dhabi, and took over the project at its very initial stage where she leased 65% of the outlets and then reached 85% at the time of the official opening. Her experience also includes being the General Manager of The Mall, Jumeirah Dubai where her responsibilities included all aspects of the mall management from leasing, tenant relations, business planning, finance, facilities and operational management to maintenance, mall inspections and safety functions. Outside of the professional career, Nancy is a keen triathlete, having completed many Triathlons competition around the world, and actively training. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Business Administration from the University of Istanbul and completed an MBA in Modern Management Systems from Marmara University in Istanbul.
