Zethu Lubisi is an IT Professional with over 20 years of experience in information and communication technology, digital transformation, and strategic leadership. She has built a distinguished career at the intersection of technology, governance, and innovation, contributing to impactful initiatives across higher education and enterprise environments. She is the Founder of Mamlakah Holdings, a multi-dimensional platform that brings together strategy, impact, experience, and conversation. Through its subsidiaries, including Mamlakah Consulting, Mamlakah Cares, and Mamlakah Experiences, the organisation is designed to move ideas into action, bridging the gap between vision, people, and meaningful impact. Zethu’s expertise spans data governance, digital transformation, cybersecurity, digital strategy, hybrid work enablement, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. She is particularly passionate about advancing digital equity and shaping inclusive technology ecosystems that empower people and organisations to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Currently completing her PhD, her research explores the perspectives of women in ICT within South Africa’s telecommunications sector, focusing on hybrid work, identity, environmental influences, and digital safety. Her academic work strengthens her practical insights, positioning her as a credible voice on gender, leadership, and the future of work. Zethu is also the host of the In Transit Podcast: Conversations for the Journey to Work and Self, a platform dedicated to meaningful dialogue with leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Through her podcast, she explores themes of leadership, technology, personal growth, wellness, purpose, and navigating life’s transitions with intention.
